Tree Board

The Village Tree Board is assigned the responsibility to study, investigate, counsel, develop or update annually, and administer a written plan for, the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas When requested by Council, the Board shall consider, investigate and make findings, report and recommendation upon any special matter or questions coming within the scope of its work.

In addition, the Tree Board has been selected to host the 2007 Southwest Ohio Tree City USA Awards ceremony.  This is an incredible honor for the Tree Board and indeed the entire Waynesville community, please support the Tree Board as they work to make this event a huge success and showcase everything our community has to offer.

The Tree Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 2 p.m. in the government building conference room.
