Ernie Tracy was elected to begin his first term on Council in January 2006. In previous years, he has served on the Charter Review Commission and the Planning Commission. His term is set to expire on December 31, 2009.

Mr. Tracy's goal while on Council is to improve communications between the village offices and residents, and to continue building the working relationship among government, the Chamber of Commerce, and area businesses. He would like to see the financial status of the village on more solid footing as well.

Mr. Tracy's current committee assignments include Public Works and School Board liaison.

Mr. Tracy and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Lindsay and Tyler.
