Sandra Stemple has been a resident of the Village of Waynesville for sixteen years. During that time, "Sandy" has served four terms on the Village Council, sitting on various boards and committees throughout her tenure.  Currently she is serving as Council President and is in the middle of a four-year term. Councilwoman Stemple currently serves on the Police Committee, the Parks and Recreation Board, the Historic Preservation Board, and the Finance Committee.

Sandy has been married to Pete Stemple for forty-six years and together they have four children and nine grandchildren. In her free time Sandy is active in several organizations throughout the community, including the Progressive Women's Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, and St. Augustine Church Council. Sandy is a long-time employee of Ellis Super Valu, which is located in downtown Waynesville.
