Bruce Snell was appointed Village Manager by Village Council in September 2006. Prior to joining the staff here, Bruce worked as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Mason. Bruce graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Arts in Social Studies and received his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Dayton in 2003. Bruce sees the Village of Waynesville as a treasure to both those who have lived in the community all their lives and to those that have more recently discovered the charm of the Village. Bruce currently resides near Lebanon, OH with his wife, Tracey, and their two children and he has a son attending Northern Arizona University as well.

Staci Morris joined the Village staff as Finance Director and Clerk of Council in March 2007. Previously, Staci worked for six years as the Chief Deputy for the Greene County Recorder’s Office. She graduated from Wright State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services and from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 with a Master’s Degree in Taxation. Staci currently lives in Springboro with her husband Damon, son Wesley, and their two dogs.

Chief Gary Copeland, formerly from Northern Ohio, has been in law enforcement for over 20 years following a four-year tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps. Chief Copeland served overseas during his military tenure, where he was also a member of the Marine Corps karate team. The Chief’s education consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a minor in Criminology from Indiana Wesleyan University where he graduated with honors. He has also graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and the Police Executive Leadership College in Columbus, Ohio. Chief Copeland is a member of the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the FBI National Academy Associates. Chief Copeland is married with two sons, one who is currently serving in the Army, 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq. Chief’s hobbies consist of weight training, martial arts and playing guitar. He enjoys working with the residents of the Village in a collaborative effort to improve the quality of life in Waynesville.

Stephanie Morgan joined the Village staff as Court and Police Clerk in October 2007, providing a variety of clerical and administrative support functions for the Mayor's Court and the Police Department. Duties include preparing court dockets and files, maintaining a database of court proceedings, processing payments of fines, and issuing summons and/or warrants. She also maintains police files and enters citations into the Law Records Management System. On a personal note, Stephanie graduated with honors from Ohio University and is married to husband, Craig. She is an active magician and enjoys many other hobbies such as making crafts, reading and exercising.

Dianne Dawson, Utility Billing Director, has been a member of the Village staff since 1998. She performs routine and complex supervisory, clerical, administrative, and data processing work in the billing of utility and other public services. Services include the process for water connections and fees, managing non-payment, shut-off notices, certification to taxes of past due balances, and maintaining all aspects of the utility billing division.
