The Waynesville Court and Police Department does assist persons required, requesting, and wanting help.  We work with and recommend the following agencies to provide that assistance.

Weekend Intervention Programs:  An alternative-to-incarceration program.  A recent study showed that DUI offenders who participate in a program such as this are less likely to get another DUI. (Wright State University Weekend Intervention Program and Access Ohio)  http://www.med.wright.edu/citar/wip/whattoexpect.html

Chemical Awareness Programs:  This program targets the individuals that are 18 years or older that have an alcohol or drug offense and are self-referred or referred by the court.  The programs is designed to use education to increase the coping and interpersonal skills of drug/alcohol abusers and those experiencing legal difficulties due to harmful use of alcohol and drugs. (Mental Health and Recovery Centers of Warren County)

Many types of agencies and programs are located in Warren County.  We will assist you in finding the help you need.
