2006 Village Water Report

Our water is ground water.  It is obtained through four wells located along the Little Miami River.  It is constantly monitored and tested using EPA approved procedures for purity and quality.

We do not have fluoride in our water.

If you have a water softener you should know our water has 19.5 grains of hardness per gallon.

From time to time we will flush fire hydrants or make repairs that might cause some discoloration in your water. In the event you experience a loss of water or water pressure it would be a good idea to let your water run till it is clear before doing laundry.

Angie Tipton and James Randolph handle operations at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.  They perform a variety of skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the water and wastewater treatment facilities and systems.

JD spends the bulk of his time reading and installing water meters, but also helps out with other Water and Waste Water Division operations.
