Water & Wastewater Our water is ground water. It is obtained through four wells located along the Little Miami River. It is constantly monitored and tested using EPA approved procedures for purity and quality. From time to time we will flush fire hydrants or make repairs that might cause some discoloration in your water. In the event you experience a loss of water or water pressure, it would be advisable to let the water run until it is clear before doing laundry.
Lytle Tower Rehabilitation Project
The Lytle Tower Rehabilitation Project is now complete. The
500,000 gallon water tower, located on Lytle Road across from the Government Center,
recently received substantial maintenance including cleaning, sand-blasting and
painting.
Towers generally receive this type of rehab work every ten to fifteen years in
the Midwest. Please read this
Tower Update for additional
information regarding this project and the effect on Village
of Waynesville water customers. Thank you for your patience during this
endeavor and we sincerely apologize for
any temporary inconvenience this project may have caused.
